This September one of the world’s leading media, technology and entertainment shows returns to Amsterdam. The annual IBC exhibition and conference has established itself as a key platform for exhibitors and attendees alike to build relationships and engage with industry leaders.


Over 55,000 visitors are scheduled to be in attendance, giving the 1,700 + exhibitors an ideal opportunity to showcase their products and services, build their brand identity and launch new and innovative products and technology.


Spread across 15 individual halls within the RAI Centre, IBC will have specially themed sections with custom features to enhance visitor experience and heighten engagement.


Coinciding with the exhibition is the IBC conference, featuring over 300 speakers, discussing the latest industry topics, trends and technologies. Registration for the show gives visitors access to all of the halls, events and conferences over the 5 days.

Who exhibits?


IBC exhibitors include some of the world leading companies working within the media, entertainment and related technology industries. Some notable exhibitors include: Amazon Web Services, BT, Dell, Facebook, BBC, Huawei, IBM, Cisco & Google.


The show also present a valuable opportunity for start-ups & SMEs to get their business seen by the key decision makers in their industry.


How to exhibit


Applying to exhibit at IBC usually starts between August and November the previous year and can be done through the show’s website


Stand location is determined by a combination of size of stand booked, re-booking volume, requirements, and show history, with allocation being determined in Feb.

Getting there


Amsterdam has a world class international airport and large-scale transport systems. The majority of the city is covered by a tram, bus and metro system, and IBC attendees can pick up a free tram pass from information points when they arrive. Shuttle buses run regularly from all major hotels to the exhibition centre.


As with all large shows, flight & hotel availability can fill up quickly and it is important to arrange this early.
